How the estate came to be
Beauregard did not begin as a business plan.
It began as an idea about how a place should feel.
There is a story that has been passed down at Beauregard. It tells of a husband and wife, an architect and an artist, who believed that the spaces we create shape how we live and connect.
During their travels in Italy, they encountered a monastery whose quiet strength stayed with them. They built Beauregard in its likeness, drawing from its proportions, restraint, and sense of calm. The estate was shaped to endure, not to impress.
Without children of their own, the story goes that the estate became their life’s work. Each building and suite was treated as its own place, different in character, united by the same sense of calm.
Throughout the property, small hearts appear in unexpected places. They have become part of Beauregard’s identity, quiet marks of care, partnership, and continuity.
Since taking stewardship of the estate, we have continued this work with the same respect. Renovations have been approached as a continuation rather than a reinvention, preserving what feels right while allowing the place to be lived in comfortably today.
